Air Compressor Repair & Servicing

We repair and service piston (reciprocating) and rotary screw air compressors on-site or in our workshop, for any brand, and run preventive servicing so breakdowns become the exception rather than the routine. Describe the fault over call or WhatsApp and we'll advise on the likely cause and next step before you commit to a visit.

What we repair and service

Piston and screw compressors fail differently, and we handle both:

Piston (reciprocating) compressors

  • Piston ring and valve plate replacement when compression is weak or the unit runs hot
  • Non-return (check) valve replacement when pressure bleeds back after shutdown
  • Pressure switch and safety valve replacement or calibration
  • Motor, belt and pulley alignment — a common cause of vibration and noise
  • Air receiver tank inspection, drain valve and gauge replacement

Rotary screw compressors

  • Air-end diagnostics and overhaul, including bearing replacement
  • Oil separator element and oil filter replacement when oil carryover shows up in the line
  • Thermal (bypass) valve and cooler issues causing high discharge temperature
  • Controller, pressure transducer and VFD/starter panel diagnostics
  • Solenoid and inlet valve faults causing failure to load or unload correctly

Common problems we get called for

If any of these sound familiar, it's usually diagnosable over a phone call before we arrive:

  • Won't build pressure or builds it very slowly — often a worn non-return valve, leaking piston rings/valve plates, or a clogged intake filter restricting airflow.
  • Trips on load or won't start — motor overload, a failed starter/contactor, or (on screw units) a controller fault.
  • Oil in the compressed air line — a saturated or damaged oil separator element on screw compressors, or worn rings on piston units.
  • Runs unusually hot — blocked cooler fins, low oil level, or a stuck thermal valve.
  • Loud knocking or vibration — bearing wear, a loose mount, or belt/pulley misalignment.
  • Cycles on and off too often — usually undersized capacity for current demand, or a leaking pipeline/fittings network.

Preventive servicing — what's actually checked

A proper service is more than an oil top-up. Each visit typically covers: oil and oil filter change, intake air filter cleaning or replacement, drive belt tension and condition, condensate drain function, safety/relief valve test, pressure switch cut-in/cut-out check, and — on screw compressors — oil separator element condition and general air-end health.

As a general guide, oil and filter service is due roughly every 1,000–2,000 running hours, which works out to about every 3–4 months for a single-shift operation and closer to monthly for two or three shifts. Calendar-based scheduling misses this — running-hour tracking under ourAMC plans is more reliable.

On-site or workshop — which do you need?

Most preventive servicing, minor repairs and diagnostics are done on-site at your factory or workshop to avoid downtime from transporting the unit. Major work — air-end overhauls, motor rewinding coordination, tank re-certification — is usually more practical in our workshop. We'll tell you which applies once we've seen the fault, and quote before any paid work starts.

How a repair call works

  1. Call or WhatsApp us with the symptom, and the compressor's brand/HP if you have it — a quick photo of the nameplate helps.
  2. We give an initial read on likely cause and whether it needs an on-site visit or workshop pickup.
  3. On inspection, you get a written estimate before we start any paid repair.
  4. We repair, test under load, and hand over with what was found and replaced.

Repair & servicing FAQs

How much does air compressor servicing cost in Chakan and Pune?

It depends on the compressor type (piston or screw), horsepower, running hours and how overdue the service is. A basic piston compressor service is inexpensive, while a screw compressor air-end overhaul costs more because of the parts and labour involved. We inspect the machine and its running-hour history first, then give you a written estimate before starting any paid work — there is no fixed one-size-fits-all price.

Do you provide 24/7 emergency compressor breakdown service near Talegaon, Chakan and Pimpri-Chinchwad?

Yes. Breakdown calls are answered 24 hours a day and given priority over routine work — call or WhatsApp us at +91 93221 61376 any time, with your location and a brief description of the fault (or a short video/photo). For sales, AMC and general enquiries, our office hours are 9 AM – 9 PM. Response time for a visit depends on your distance from Chakan and current job load, so a same-day visit is usual but not guaranteed for every location during peak hours.

How often should an industrial air compressor be serviced?

As a general guide, oil and filter changes are due roughly every 1,000–2,000 running hours for both piston and screw compressors, though the exact interval depends on the manufacturer's manual, ambient dust levels and duty cycle. For a single-shift factory that works out to roughly every 3–4 months; for two- or three-shift operations it can be monthly. Waiting until the compressor "sounds fine" is the main reason units fail early — running-hour based scheduling, which we track under our AMC plans, is more reliable than a calendar guess.

My compressor is not building pressure — what could be wrong?

Common causes include a worn or stuck non-return (check) valve, leaking piston rings or worn valve plates, a clogged intake air filter restricting airflow, a leak in the delivery line or fittings, or — on screw compressors — a faulty pressure sensor or clogged oil separator element. Some of these are quick fixes; others need a workshop visit. Describe the symptom (slow build-up, won't reach cut-out pressure, drops fast under load, etc.) when you call us and we can often narrow down the likely cause before we arrive.

Do you repair and service compressors of all brands, or only the ones you sell?

We repair, service and provide AMC support for piston and screw air compressors across brands and models, not only units we have supplied. Bring or send us the compressor's nameplate details (brand, model, HP/kW, serial number) over a WhatsApp photo and we can advise on parts availability and likely turnaround before you commit to a visit.
